My first ever fireworks photo. I really don't know what I'm doing but I'm having fun

my advice is use a wider angle, try to get some foreground in. a shot of fireworks going off is all well and good but you really need something in the foreground to set it into proportion and create a story out of it, rather than just have things blowing up in the air.

if I might interject
I would also recommend using a bit longer shutter speed - try to catch it right when it explodes so you have that really full looking bulb of fireworks. also, do you have a B or BULB setting on your camera? that is supposed to be best for catching fireworks, so you can just push down the shutter and keep it open until you want to, and you just let off of the shutter.
I like these though! they're nice!
