Yo Andy - too funny! I went for a hike yesterday and passed numerous trees with carved initials on them. I snapped a few, but non came out as nice as yours (as usual).
:D

Too bad it's so far away Andy, you will probably never find out how it worked out between bino + roach

Lovely image, Andy. Grafiti proclaiming eternal love are always kind of cool. I see them in the covered bridges frequently, but I am unable to create the attractive images with them that you did here ..... Too many oil stains I think. :rofl

"Judy & Joe"
Seaview Playland, Cape Cod, MASS.
These were the lightpoles for the mini-golf. Everyone would write on the poles with the score keeping pencils. The lead would actually etch the galvanized poles. This is permanent and never comes off, you can actually FEEL the writing.
This place is sadly, gone now. The owner, Janice, told me people would come back on their honeymoons, anniversarys, etc, and find the pole where they had first dates and left notes, etc. Pretty neat stuff. Too bad the old place is gone. Thanks Andy for posting yours, made me remember these...
