question about 2x tele. conv. for VR lense???

Does anyone use a telephoto converter for a nikon VR lense? i have been looking for one for my 70-200mm IF ED VR. Most tele conv. will not work with the VR lense. Actualy i think there is only one that does work. If it does matter i'm using a D2H. I have gotten conflicting info from some shops ( Pro shops) but no one actualy use the tele conv with a vr lense. If anyone has used that combo please let me know how it worked.

I was not sure about Nikon, but Canon's teleconvertors are configured to work with their telephotos, especially the ones with IS technology.
