Lately I've been using my 100-400L to shoot closeups. Here I'm attempting to show the that the wind is always present on the prairies. Post Processed using Lab Colour curve adjustments & unsharp mask on the Lab lightness channel.

It's a very nice shot, but I don't feel no wind :dunno
I must note, wind is a very hard thing to catch on still, especially in a small scale environment. Curved palm trees is one thing, few blades of grass is quite another..
Good luck, it would be very interesting to see your other shots..:thumb

Wind is a really tough one! Someday I will gather the courage to try this as well.

In this shot, the OOF portions are in the front and the back, so it appears to be the result of dof, rather than wind. Even if that is not the case.

Did you try getting some shots where the grass in bending? Not just moving at the top, but bending over. I think that will give more of a sense of wind and the blur may be interpretted more as motion blur rather than DOF Blur.

I really like the colors that you got in the shot, that shade of pink in the grass and the light on it is beautiful too.

A tough assignment you've given yourself. I hope you show us more.
