A polarizing filter would have pulled out the reflections, and personally I like them -makes the scene look natural...

Not sure about using a polarizer the image itself is a tod blown out, in the sky and the road as well, the car has hot spots too....... nice car though, I've been in a Corvette :D Skippy (Australia)

I like this better. In the color version, the taillight look way over-saturated.

In this one, I'm seeing the car much better - less distraction from other things. However, looking at the grass to the right of the car - you lost some detail in the B&W conversion. I think it's because there's not much detail in the color version and what is there is mostly differences in the shade of green of the grass. I don't know ANYTHING about B&W conversion so I can't help much.

I think I posterized the grass some and as I was wheelin' and deelin' with ps decided at the last minute to go bw- so I didn't put in the effort that was needed, but then, the car is the subject-

not to excuse the bw portion, this was a difficult photo to work on-

combined two differrent exposures of the same raw picture to try to keep from blowing highlights and color was an issue (probably did not take care of it like I should have when it was in raw)-

anyway, a learning experience; thanks for looking-

A polarizer won't elliminate ALL the glare and reflections because each compound curve present it's own problems but at least you get to choose which angle you want to polarize. This is a tough shot to expose. The car Is a very difficult color and the contrast is high. It's good thing you had overcast.
You did a good job.
