Peeps, sadly I was ill all week and ragingly ill on race day and as a result didn't shoot the actual race day (which believe it or not is actually a low quantity image day). Still a bit bummed but what can you do - gotta move on! I haven't been able to shake this damn flu I picked up on arriving in Italy on the Sunday and I still have it (going to the Doc's this afternoon before I head off to Miller later this week...)
Anyways, a few from the Friday and Saturday of the event.

Ummmm amazing, the colors are freaking awesome, the first shot looks like it was shot with film, beautiful as usual.
Italians must be partying right now, they just won their match agains Ghana in the World Cup.

Superb shots of Hopper (or is it Vermeulen?) and Nicky. With the Nicky shot, a lot, some folks say that you really should have the whole bike in the frame. I think in certain cases, it agitates both the frame and the viewer to have the bike cropped. I think this gives the image a sense of aggression, and I think that's what really drives this one home. he's really going for it, and so is your image.

Love that first one. I get to shoot at Summit Point again on Sunday. My brother is in two races - should be another good time. Thanks as always for the inspiration.

That first one just screams Italy. But the angle you've got on Colin Edwards
is different and really helps convey what it means to lean the bike.
Get better soon!

Do you have a better shot of Rossi's helmet? The top left is what I'm curious
about :)
Have a good time in UT!
(oh, and you didn't miss anything at home--ugly, ugly, ugly weather.).
