The squirrel is fantastic! Sharp and stands out from the background.

Excellent shots but something about the Squirrel shot ...

You used a 10d and the 100-400L with ISO400 wide open at f5.6, a -.5 exposure adustment, and 1/350th. When I look at the full size jpg (the 'original' on smugmug) I see lots to not like. (see below) So I look at your post processing: Exposure -0.40, Brightness 50, Contrast +33, Saturation +4, Sharpness 25, Noise Reduction 25 and maybe this is the issue. I also notice that you appear to be using PS to do your raw conversion. I always use DPP to do my raw and most folks prefer C1.

Any chance you could make the file CRW_8220.CRW available to me? I would really like to play with it.
