First post here. I just found this forum after opening my Smugmug account. I have been shooting my daughter's softball games and I'm going to give each girl a DVD with all of the photo's at the end of the season. The first two are my daughter. These were shot with a 20D and 70-200 f4L. C&C always welcome.

Sweet shots! I love the expression on the batter. Fully focused and ready to smack that ball out of the park...Hope they hit the ball because if not the poor kid's going to pop a shoulder from the follow through. :rofl

You say these were with the 70-200 f/4 L but I only see a 70-200 2.8 on your list?

The families will definitely appreciate your efforts. Well done.

Thanks for the comments, it's been a lot of fun shooting these games.

I was about 15 feet beyond 1st. It's an 8 and under league so you don't have to worry about them hitting the ball that far.

You are looking at Jeffro's sig, I haven't posted my equipment yet. The 70-200 2.8 IS is a little rich for my blood. I'm more than pleased with the 70-200 F4.

Very nice shots :thumb :thumb

As mentioned your shooting location is primo :clap Nice color, shapness and contrast too. Keep posting. If you are anything like the rest of us, the later it gets into the season, the better and better your shots will turn out :D

Good work!!
