I've just upgraded to a Power User (woo!) and just started to fiddle around a bit. I know my stuff with HTML/CSS but having some issues - the site is http://sebpayne.smugmug.com.

a.) As soon as I have entered ANY custom CSS code, the page goes crazy. The box background is no longer a graident. The header above the boxes now has a gray background! Why has this happened? How can I solve this?

b.) 'my bio' header doesn't appear when not logged in

I like the black/green background but it doesn't match my site at sebpayne.com so I'd prefer to have the white one! Hope you understand what I mean :):

Solved it myself. Basically - I was trying to get the 'new' look but not using all the neccessary CSS files. To get the 'new' white look - you need to link in pureSmugWhite and pureSmugBlack to the page which works fine. The header code I have is:

<link href="http://sebpayne.smugmug.com/include/css/pureSmugBlack-20060605202558.css" type="text/css" rel="stylesheet" id="pureSmugBlack" /><link href="http://sebpayne.smugmug.com/include/css/pureSmugWhite-20060605202558.css" type="text/css" rel="stylesheet" id="pureSmugWhite" />

This is a bit of a hack but I love the look of the site. It is a bit individual and still fits in with the smugmug look! I can't find a way of changing the link of my logo - any ideas? Otherwise, I will have to rewrite the header code :cry. Anyway, what does anyone think of http://sebpayne.smugmug.com - any suggestions on how it can be improved?

:wave Hi Seb, good on ya!

So, why bother with the logo and link, why not just create your own header and toss the smugmug header? :ear

Hi Andy :wave

Well - this is weird. I copied the current header code (from Camino's source view) and customised and set 'no' to the standard header and then it didn't work :cry. I'll give it another go and see how it goes!
