share groups question (bug?)

Perhaps a bug?

When I create a share groups
http://mpmcleod.smugmug.com/share/2ypf6PP425R0A
All I see is the protected graphics.

But the same galleries under their category>subcategory
http://mpmcleod.smugmug.com/Weddings/192749
displays thumbnails of the feature image.

What gives?

I would like to create some share groups and make private the galleries that should be private but I would also like people to have a hint of what is in each gallery.

:nono NOT a bug. You had the bride holding the flowers as a "feature photo," go to the photo and in photo tools select "remove featured photo." Then you get the lock back.

I did it for you for the bride, you can do the other (it's the bride feeding the groom the cake...).

if i understand his question correctly, he wants the feature photo, NOT the lock.I would like to create some share groups and make private the galleries that should be private but I would also like people to have a hint of what is in each gallery.

his question was why the feature photo showed in the gallery and not the sharegroup. looks like inconsistent behavior to me.

So, are you saying that you've selected "feature photo" and they are not showing up?

Yes and no.

They show up fine when I view the galleries from my public pages but they don't show up when I view the exact same galleries from a share groups link.

I would like them to show up when I view them from a share groups link but from a share groups link all I see are the protected gallery graphic.

Take a look at the links above in two different windows and I think you will see what I mean.

I would like to be able to see the feature photo in both views.

This was a bug, will be fixed in the next release.
