how can I remove the share groups off of the main page?

I see the buttons for the other "boxes" but none for share groups.

If I can't turn it off, at the very least I would like to have it at the bottom of the page and not at the top.

Clear your cookies, that's all. They don't show to anyone but you, because you've visted the share group.
