And frankly I have a lot of them here in Beijing. Any leads would be good.
I'm not particulary focused on land scapes but this haze permiates most days I have.

one day one chance, visiting the great wall for instance. faced with this, what can you do for yourself to make your image work better.

Is it all dependant on when you wake up? :huh does not compute.

out of interest. this was coupled with a raw shot that I tinkered with, and added LAB curves too and sharpening. to be honest, this first time effect makes me feel just as puky. If anybody wants to tell me what I may have overdone please feel free.

Perhaps this may be a bit more to your liking. Haze, while not the most desirable thing, is not altogether bad. Subtle moves can make a difference and if there is some left, well, that's just natural.

The following are the LAB curves I used. I concentrated the steepest part of the curve on the wall and included some of the vegetation. More could be done, this was a quick edit.

i made the b curve slightly steeper (very slightly) to give the vegetation a bit more yellow.
