Whether you like the election results or not, is everyone pleased the lawyers aren't involved this time? Whew.

Yeah I bet you are! Well done, getting through another one. Your elections look VERY full on!
We just got through ours about 4 weeks ago. Our PM got in for his FOURTH term!!! bloody hell. personally i didn't vote for him - seems to me like he's taking our country back to the 1950's ..... very stale attitude to a number of 'issues' that I think you guys are dealing with over there too.......
anyway, well done..... hay is it compulsory to vote over there? I thought I saw on the news a few adds in the background encouraging people to vote? :dunno Here its compulsory .....

I personally am not pleased about anything re the election or the after wards.
Silly Bird, well, he is doing OK, probably is glad about the lawyers.
Not me, actually, I have not given it a thought.
No, it is a "privilege" to vote, it is not compulsory. Many do not, more did than usual.
We got a sales tax I so much wanted. Lawyers will probably come in on that one.

I am watching a man on TV explain how we can all come together, kind of let bygones be bygones, we are all americans, etc. Heard a bit of that last night. I just figure, well, they don't feel like I do, didn't vote as I did, and it is easy for them to say, they have no more idea where I am coming from than I have of where they are coming from.
Can't do anything now, never felt I could. So, maybe I will make another calendar..............
