Rhododendron is a bloom!

Got these at first thing this morning while it was overcast for best lighting.
There will be more as the bush blooms even more!
The bush is about 60+ years old.

Cool! I like the third one the best. I agree, an overcast day is great for taking photos of flowers.
There's an exhibition of rhododendrons close to where I work going on these days; now that you showed us what beautiful flowers this plant has, I think I shouldn't miss it. :D

I think I like #1 the most because of the richness of color #3 is probably a close 2nd.
BTW: It rained last nite so the water drops wern't staged this time!

I'll definately be getting more before they are gone.
Now I know what I've been missing being a home body all winter! :D
