please choose the topic for dgrin challenge 26.

dgrin challenge 26 will be a "no photoshop" challenge, meaning that only basic photo editing will be allowed.

definition of basic editing:

color correction (white balance, saturation / desaturation)
exposure correction (either via raw conversion, or through levels / curves or dodge/burn techniques)
sharpness correction

so, what's not allowed? anything else, including cloning / healing brush, croppping etc.

exposure correction is ok - via layers or not it's still okay

LynnThanks for the welcome. I have been busy and not able to post for a while. This whole forum thing is new to me also. You can see limited (very limited) work at www.go2dg.com (http://www.go2dg.com/) or go directly to the gallery at http://photos.go2dg.com (http://photos.go2dg.com/) .

I look forward to the photo challenge. Do shadows around the house count if we voted already...I think I chose around the house, but prefer shadows. FINAL ANSWER. :scratch Lost at times!

I don't have room for shadows around the house, but I know some great places, now, to get them. I don't even remember what I voted for, but I wanted around the house.

I must have been out of my mind! Totally!

I actually plan to photograph mold??? And a hole the dogs ate through a wall.

I repeat, I must have been crazy. To top it all off, now I have no excuse to ever leave the house.

ginger, I would think shadows would be good in most houses.:1drink

How can you not go with shadows in the fall/winter!? There's no better time of year for long gorgeous shadows!

:D nothin wrong with a little campaigning

I'm looking forward to this one... have heaps of ideas to experiment with - hopefully some will turn out well. I just have to resist the urge to start too soon!
