This morning as I was feeding the horses, this little rat snake would not let me into the feed room until I knew the password :D He really was such a cute snake and posed a long time for me... and tasted the lense a few times with his tongue as well (something I don't recommend you let a rattler do:wink)

Thanks for the comments. I was VERY close. In fact, I was petting him a bit too ;) I don't mind snakes... and I know my poisonous ones around here (we have quite a few).

I would love to get a pic of a corn snake... they are beautiful!
