The problem with vacation shots is we try to capture the "entire" experience....and it usually doesn't work! I can't tell by the image if you were shooting an action shot or a landscape. I would crop out the foreground and move closer to the action. Crop right about where the paper cup is and get rid of it. Also crop the sky down to the flag. This gives it an almost panoramic feel. Clone out miscellaneous debris that is distracting. I didn't much care for the housing and knowing it is a vacation shot that might evoke fond memories, I would adjust the hue and give the shot some late afternoon "sweet" light...even a little filter>distort> diffuse glow. It makes an ordinary vacation shot into a warm, sweet memory. (I can PM my experiment to you if you are interested..just pm me.)
