All three of these animals live in the vicinity of the Grand Canyon. The first is an animal that I am still reluctant to drop into any one species until futher sampling is completed.

Here is a young (yearling) Black-Tailed Rattlesnake.

Seriously, those are wonderful shots. I love seeing these manacing creatures in their environment. And what a gorgeous environment it is.

Cool shots John. I really like the third one with the angles of the rocks. Most people would be to scared to get this close to them.

Excellent work, Mr. Slone. Your subjects make birding seem somewhat less than adventurous.

Thanks for the compliments. it really isn't all the adventurous just need to be aware of your surroundings. Jwear next time your in town let me know and I am sure I can show you few intersting animals.
