I was playing around with google maps and smugmug. I think it's neat and all, but I'd like to not have it on my main page.
I know I enabled it however I'd like to disable it, how do I do that? (I seem to not be able to find it despite my efforts)

You can remove it yourself, just click on "remove from homepage."
The reason YOU don't see that, is because you've hidden the boxTop element with the remove button on it. I will do it for you right now.

any chance we'll get the opportunity to "move down" and "move up" the homepage 'round the world map deal?

uber-fast response, as usual...:D
...and it makes me feel guilty to comment/question: why the hell is this option sometimes available (e.g. timeline, galleries) and sometimes not (e.g. featured galleries, 'round the world)? It's so bizarre for the otherwise very sensiible company that is SmugMug. This isn't directed to you Andy, but to SmugMug in general.
respectfully,
LeDude
p.s. alright, so not having the option to move featured galleries to a non-featured location makes some sense :wink

You'd have to ask Onethumb.... I really don't know why? Some do, some don't.... But, with customization, we give the abilty to do the homepage shuffle :D

I'm on this with LeDude - sure you can do it with Javascript, but all this slows down my page for people with slower computers. Therefore a server-side implementation is always preferred! Plus LeDude has a point - you have it for some items and for some not:
Don? Why is that? Can't we simply have it for all items on the homepage? :wink
Thanks.

Just in case anyone is watching this thread, the Smugmug team implemented the moving-up-and-down feature for all homepage elements.
