Just got a message from NAPP: new version 3.4 of ACR (http://www.adobe.com/products/photoshop/cameraraw.html) supports 30D, as well as a bunch of the other newest cameras.:clap
Yay, Adobe! Yay, NAPP! :thumb

Isn't the sensor and DIGIC II chip in the 30D identical to the 20D in all respects? If so why is supporting a 30D so hard?
This is what I really hate about propreitary RAW formats.

It's the same processing. But they check the EXIF to see which camera it is. 30D was not on the list, hence the problem. :dunno The hack (which I used before) was addressing exactly this issue - it was simply replacing one of the high end canon names with 30D - and that did the trick perfectly. :):
Luckily, now we have 30D officially in the list of the supported cameras, so life can go on:-)
Cheers!:1drink
