Out shooting for the Light Up Cincinnati I didn't shoot any that great but had good time talking to everyone.
Here's one photog that stood out on the riverbank.
He was shooting panos with this motorized rig.
He has few books in the Krohn in Cincinnati

Zowie! That's some rig. :huh
I'd imagine you've gotta weigh the base of that tripod down with some serious mass if you're sending the cam up 30 feet.

I have seen some of this guys work and it's very cool.
And seems to be the only guy doing this too
The tripod was very massive and very wide
I have seen him set this up in town...and I get stopped for a little tripod and canera by police :dunno
He would load 120 film into the camera send it up push a button
And then load the other camera while the first was buisy and repeat the process.
He stood out from the crowd that for sure
Wish I could remember the brand camera?

Isn't the internet great after a long search I found it.
This is the camera the Pano Man was using...Link (http://www.hulchercamera.com/page15.htm)
HULCHERAMA 120-S it's only $7000 too...he had two in his bag (50mm lens)
I think I would rather have the 1DMark II for that price
