This is my attempt at IR how does it look? I dont think Im doing this correct.

This is after channel mixing, auto color & contrast, unsharpen mask
Im not sure if what Im doing is the correct way.
Any help is greatly appreciated.

i am not Expert but what i have seen Trees look great in white color
Brown is not looking good

2nd vesion is much better

Hi Pamela,

Looks like you did it right with the 2nd photo. All IR shots need the kind of post-processing steps you have done. Well done! I look forward to seeing more of your pictures. Oh, and a slightly larger version to look at would be nice. What equipment are you using?

Hi Pamela........your second shot looks good, first looks ....shall we says "under done" , it doesn't really "Pop", but looks like you figured it out in the second shot you posted.

I've never tried to do a Coloured IR shot.... but I plan to after my trip to USA, cause the ones I see get posted here look real nice :thumb

Im using a Canon Rebel Xt.
I think that the photos could be sharper, but I will figure out how to do better
next time.

Pamela..I know it will take time. I just received my converted Rebel XT 2 weeks ago...what a learning process.
Try shooting aperture priority at f8 or f10 ISO100..this seems to work for me (for now anyways :D ).

You can also change your camera to B&W setting if you want a truer B&W IR. And thanks for the nice comment.
