Long exposures + cars makes a great combination. Thought I'd grab some moving stills on a car, with the help of a friend of course, dont shoot and drive!:

I like #3 the most! Great idea and nice work in capturing it! :thumb
Larger version may require some additional cropping from the left :scratch

Cheers!:1drink

I got around in doing some post processing work when I got home, I did a few crops and one without a crop. See what you think.

ahh so you like the crop eh? i think the crop helps focus the eyes on the rear rim. im leaning towards the blue tone myself.

I really like this shot, very well done. I assme this is some sort of mount you are using? Care to share!?

mr peas

Yeah its a suction cup type mount I used. A good friend of mine lent it to me. I've seen similar devices on Ebay. Look up 'window mount' on Ebay. Its a simple mount with a tripod head, some arm extensors and a 6" suction cup. Then some bungee cords to keep it from vibrating too much. Thats it!

I'm sure you can mimic the shot by simply moving with the car. Id say using a tshirt inbetween the camera and the car's body to keep it steady and just move along with the car. Its a little hard to do, but it works too. :):
