I think we should have an "up close" thread.
ginger (birdman can put his Ospreys in it!) Smile.
No, I know how to do scenics very well, but I am a story teller, for the most part. I would like to know how to do up close, too!
Also, maybe a thread of everything listed as "NOT TO POST" by Harry. Between all of us, we must have photos of cuties, rats, gulls, etc.
(what is wrong with gulls?)

Nothing wrong with gulls Ginger. They can make for great subjects.

This a a very neat picture with a great background. Good work.
It's not always easy to come close enough to get a nice detailled headshot.

Where is your buddy Dallas, Jeff? :dunno :scratch Have not seen him n weeks. Hope he's O.K.
Dick....pretty nice capture, yourself, but I would have done some PS work on those reflections under the beak. They are a bit distracting.

The exposure looks good, but I wish it was looking at the camera instead of away from it.

Cheersmike no idea saw him that day i posted his picture and have pmed him and no responce he was upset about something but i have no idea what :scratch ask froggy and see if he knows whats up :dunno oh yea and thanks :D :thumb

excellent work on the second both the shot and post work :thumbhave spent more time with this dam computer :wxwax but it does pay off but i do like the hunt and shooting more than the sitting :rolleyes
