Mandy and her Mom are regular guests at the community mealsite where I volunteer.

New to scanning, I experimented with placement of the white,gray and blackpoint in curves in the Nikonscan software. Has anyone used those white, gray and black refferrence cards? Would like feedback from anyone who uses these, Thanks group, Leroy

Hi Leroys
I use a "Whi-bal" (www.Whibal.com (http://www.Whibal.com)) all the time.
I use it to set custom white balance on my 20D, and include it in a shot at each location to confirm correct WB in Adobe Camera Raw. Automatic White Balance in the camera is an approximation at best.
