View Full Version : Changing Number of Thumbnails Displayed

Number of thumbnails in move/delete/rotate/etc screens adjust to larger screens.

I have a large 20" monitor and run it in high resolutions such as 1600x1200 and above. But when I maximize a window that has the thumbnails for deleting or moving pictures, I still only get 6 thumbnails per row even though my resolution could handle almost double that. Result? I have to waste time scrolling down more often than I need to.

Sounds nit-picky, but going through over 2000 a week, this adds up to wasted time.

It would be nice if it adjusted the number per row based on the width of the window, so that it will be 6 per row if need be, but also 15 per row if maximized.

If you had firefox and the webdeveloper tool, you could make it so your window is as large as your screen for those times when you want to get as many thumbs on your screen as possible. You could even set it up so that your site uses relative size units like em's or % so that it would always resize with your browser. You could even make it so that only happens in the all thumbs gallery style.

I guess what I'm saying is that you've already got the power to do what you want to do. If you need help with it post the question in the customization room.

I posted this as a feature request, but apparently it is possible to do it using FF and the Web developer plug-in, which I have. (http://www.dgrin.com/showpost.php?p=291545&postcount=89)

So how do you do it?
