So Easter's not a *huge* deal at our house. Yesterday late afternoon my daughter and I went out to get some candy and an egg coloring kit. Of course there was next to nothing left, so we got some candy, but they didn't have any grass left!
We came home, colored some eggs, and I came out to my office to work on something or other, when my daughter comes out. She took the whole coloring thing just one step too far:

Thanks! This morning, like pulling teeth, I talked her into some more pictures. She was *not* interested in posing, but I did get a few:

and in this one you can see just how interested she is in the whole thing:

I reckon the ones with the heavy bokeh might actually tell a nicer story if we saw more of her. :dunno

She wouldn't let me take her photo, so that's a sort of compromise.
"Daddy!"
"Well, see, honey, you're out of focus, anyway."
Closest I could get to snapping her picture.
Thanks for the comment.
She was also very impatient, so I didn't have much of a chance to set the shots up like I would have wanted.

Would like another photo on Labor Day - the hands *might* be back to normal by then. Nice!

She won't shower for fear that it'll come off.

Thanks! I could have shot her for, oh at least 15 minutes, instead of the 3 that she allowed me! What she said about the hands was: "I ran out of eggs."

"I ran out of eggs."
That should be the title of the picture. Good job. I too agree that I like two handed close up of hands the best.

These shots are great! I like them all, especially the closeup of the hands. I also like your daughter being slightly "invisible" because, I think, that is away alot of girls her age would prefer to be!!!! I always say kids will give you mountains of material to work with....they are so funny and ingenious. :thumb

Thanks, Saurora! True what you say about kids. And yes, she would usually rather be invisible.
