Hi there!

I was wondering if there is an easy way to combine Galleries and Sub-Catagories, so they don't look so different within one Catagory... Does that make sense? I would like them not to be seperated....

Wondering if anyone has ever come up with an answer to this. I'm a newbie so maybe I missed it somewhere?

When I click on a catagory, it seperates the page into Subcatagories above and Galleries below. I'd like to have them all just combined in one box.

Thanks much

It's a bit of a hack, but it is possible to create an additional gallery that is a redirect (http://www.dgrin.com/showthread.php?t=47386) to a sub-category. You then need to use a bit of extra magic to make the Subcategories section disappear from the category view.

The same trick can be used to make a keyword search appear within a category - use a gallery redirect to that keyword.

Hi all,

Thanks in advance for the help here. I've used the redirect link above to allow a "gallery" thumb to actually redirect to a sub-category - in theory this will allow all the gallery thumbs in a given category to look the same.

I've also used some CSS to hide the subcategoriesBox. Trouble is, it hides all subcategory boxes in all categories - something I'd rather not do. Is there a CSS trick that will hide the subcategoriesBox in only a specific category instead of universally?

Thanks again - let me know if I need to be more specific.
