We will be performing scheduled maintenance (http://www.dgrin.com/showthread.php?t=30979) this evening from 11:00pm to 4:00 PDT. This will be user impacting, and hopefully won't take much longer than an hour or two(tm).

On the agenda tonight:
Database updates
Networking modifications to our load balancers

How's it going? Just wondering since I got in from shooting two events, and needed to start the upload before I could get some sleep. Any chance on finishing before 4am pst? That's 6am cst and I can't stay up that long. :D

Hey Wireless, 11 PM - 4 PDT means that this maintenance is extending onto 4/14, right? I'm kinda confused by the times (you posted on 4/13) here and stuff but I've got no Smugmug so you must still be working on that agenda... An hour or two?

Is that how my Dgrin album (a private album for any shots I post to dgrin) ended up reclassified in the Animals category? It was in a subcategory of Other until I logged in right now (had to find it via my gallery stats). :scratch

I'm a bit behind on reported bugs, but this has to do with some new logic applied to gallery categories. If you create a gallery and don't assign a category to it, it will be assigned to "Other" as always. However, the first time you go to the customize gallery page, it automatically sets it as "Animals" unless you change it. We're looking into this and apologize about the confusion.

Good grief, you guys are FAST! I usually have to go to sleep when a host goes down. But not Smugmug!

Tonight went really well. :)

Wish this was the norm, often the machines like to remind me who's really in control. hehe

I'd love to show that off, but it's verboten per our provider.

Imagine a sea of racks full of XServ RAIDs... :)

Here's my question on this yesterday-- and the link to the other people asking about it in Mike's reply. It is a known bug.
