Mitchell, I don't see your kids anywhere. You trying to pass other people's shots off as your own? :rofl
Great pics, very relaxing... makes me want to get out of the city!

Ooo! Your pics are making me want to make a run to the beach! Can't wait to go this summer with my family - Orange beach in AL is beautiful (although they're still working on the coast b/c of the hurricanes)...

Mitch these are 2 great shots. That first one is an ad campaign waiting to happen.

First one is awesome! I would dare to suggest to work it out in post just a bit (free transform) to make those three stripes totally horizontal (they are all skewed a little), and may be boost some contrast/saturation.
Spring break in Florida.. Southbeach Friday night.. So many great memories :):

Nik,
Thanks for the nice comments!. I straightened the horizon when I worked on the first shot. That left me with a slightly skewed shoreline. I'll have to play with it some more to see if I can remedy that. I didn't play with the saturation at all in these. The saturation in the umbrella on the second one just blew me away when I looked on my monitor at home!

Mitch,
The first one is great. You ought to start a campaign to have it become the new state flag of Florida. The ol' beach chair and stripes...:D
Cheers,
Nikolai

Oh, the umbrella on the second one is bright enough, I agree.
But the first one is essentially a duotone :-), hence I thought that maybe saturation/contrast should be popped a bit. Or levels, or curves, you know, there are tons of way to enhance already great image:-)

The first one is missing a Corona, I believe.
