Very cool Jeff.. Oddly enough I found a nest in one of my trees last night, I'll be working on getting a few pics later today...

Ed good one be careful you can very easily scare the parents off i shot this nest over 3 weeks and both came to feed with me hiding :huh

That will probably be a good spot to return to.oh that i did I have had the shots for a bit but no time --these shots are from the first day and I had to ovecome scaring the parents away --both come and feed them also they chase crows away :wxwax also exposer was a big problem were the nest was --so the first day shots were not so good

I was shooting the nest from quite a ways off with the 400mm.

Very cool! It's hard to imagine from this shot how tiny that baby really is. He's tucked right in that little nest, isn't he.

Great shot.there are 2 in the nest on my first visit i shot some butt the shots were not very goood but learned alot from watching the big one [the one you see ]was trying to shove the other out of the nest
