Still no egrets

[GREAPER]

I went on my auto tour of the local wetlands today and unfortunatly, I did not encounter a single egret. It wont be long now as the weather warms up. In the mean time I get by with shooting the birds I find.

What I believe to be a Goldfinch, but I am not sure as the markings are odd. Juvi perhaps?

The last one is a goldfinch, it is just molting into it's breeding plumage. Time to put up the niger seed feeders!

Nice shots !:thumb the killdeer is wonderful - nice sharp eyes and catchlight ! No egrets here either - they'll come, but the rest of the birds don't look too bad either:D
