Well as promised here are a couple of my first shots with my new Sigma SD9. All of these pics were taken this morning right behind the building I live in with my Sigma 15-30mm f3.5 EX on board. This is an awesome lens. Anyways I know some of you were very curious to see what kind of results this new technology can produce. Let just say Im pretty satisfied after one day with it. I will post the original RAW shot and then after about 30 seconds of post work.. Please take a look and let me know your opinions on my shots first of all and then what you think about the performance of the camera. Remember thought that this is literally my first time handeling a dslr and I shot in full manual for all of them and I havent even used a manual camera in about 7 years.. So needless to say it has been a while. Anyways I hope you all like these as much as I do. The Sigma is a helluva camera.

I was thinking of getting the sigma but had concerns about some rumors about low light conditions. It looks like it did good at dawn there. Thanks for your posts, some nice shots there, hope to see more.

check out the link I put up in a previous post. I am uploading new images to it almost daily as I am learning how to use the camera more and more. I have been very happy with my results so far.

I wish I could just come back and use one a helicopter for whatever I want. The army doesnt look to highly on that though unfortunately.
Here is another shot I got this morning. A week late for the alone or togther challenge. Too bad.

Wow, that's one very cool shot, Mike. It's like it's two different stories. The misty morning desert in the background, and this sharp, lonely runner in the foreground. Very cool.
