Monarch's, butterflies, you all, butterflies

And they are ON TIME, just serendipity that I saw them. Went back to the island to see about old houses, went up a road, etc. Got pictures, so exciting. Handheld, don't know the figures, RAW, ISO 100, I know that. Because I was driving along the front beach after taking these photos, and I saw a young man out there with a very low tripod, he was searching the ground. It was then that I realized any normal person would be using a tripod. (After I realized that he must be after the Monarch's) I did focus manually. Only way I could get them.

I have not seen this since before the hurricane. Every year they migrate to Mexico, all the Monarch butterflies, and they come through Charleston. It is glorious. It is an annual occurance, much anticipated. They are our fall colors and ON TIME. Aren't they wonderful. I only worked up three photos so far.

I decided to do a search for the posts with no responses. I found this one.

These are beautiful Ginger. Lovely colors and DOF. I'm sorry we all missed this post. I know how hard it is to catch these butterflies when they are flitting about. You must have worked hard to get them. They were worth every minute. Nice job.http://www.digitalgrin.com/images/smilies/thumb.gif
