Help with clone tool pls

Help !! My clone tool (CS2) wont work of the colour i choose...it just clones a default white. How do i get it back to normal ?
Hmmm...I tried to get mine to do that, but the closest I come to was to use the pattern stamp instead of the clone stamp and then select a solid pattern. Can you post a screen shot? Might give us a clue. In the worst case, I suppose you could delete your preferences and revert to the program defaults, but that's a PITA.

I'm not sure what's going on with your clone tool-

I've never chosen a color for it, per se; it's picked up the color of the sample that I've clicked on before using it-

look in ps help and type in clone in the search box and check it out-maybe an answer there for you-
