I was at Mondello last Sunday for the first race of the season. There was a crash involving four bikes in the first lap of the supersports race:

The new Triumph Daytona 675 made it's racing debut this weekend:

Good for triumph! Glad to see them racing again...

But didn't Cycle World say the 675 was designed with "no racing intentions in mind"??
:scratch

Nice shots :thumb

The bikes are being raced in the clubman championship which is the entry level racing in Ireland. I don't think Triumph have put any bikes into factory teams. They went well with one rider finishing fourth.

OUCH, but nice catch on 1st pic, find I have 2 thoughts racing through mind ... 1 damn lucky shot, & just shoot off a few frames madly. Closley followed by anyone hurt ? oh big bucks on repairs.

Fess us sports fans, who doesnt long for a spill of some kind to happen right in front of you, & when it does you just shoot. As happened in my post of last years MotoGP @ Phillip Island.

I would never claim to be anything other than lucky when I get a good photo :rofl . The temperature was just above freezing and the bikes were crashing at that corner frequently. I had the camera pointed the right way and kept the shutter pressed when the carnage started.

I actually always think it's good to try and capture the expressions of the other riders too...

Nice capture man!

Andrew :)
