The city of Palo Alto, California embarced on a project to reclaim some of the
wetlands at the Eastern edge of the city. The city maintains its waste water
treatment plant, a now capped dump and the airport in this area.
Just behind me is a major freeway, highway 101. In the hills across, you can
just make out a line of homes. Just above the tower on the left.
What's nice about the area is that despite the noise, it's a very peaceful place
to be.
Hope you enjoy this little bit of nature in the suburbs.
