Can I post here? I have a confession to make ...I don’t use Photoshop I use Corel Paintshop Pro "-V.100 when Christ Rode Horseback" circa 1990ish:huh

Me thinks I should upgrade to Adobe paintshop. However I am a cheap SOB
How is the learning curve? Anyone else here jumped programs? The principles are the same correct? Masking, layers etc right?

I should D/L the demo, but that could jeopardize my membership in Software Obsolescent Barbarians, or SOB.:D

I would think Photoshop Elements would be a good move and not as expensive as the full version of Photoshop CS. You can always go up to CS in the future.

What do you want to do with the software?

Mostly for web graphics and photo enhancing. I probably would like CS over elements just for the neato extra techno stuff(I am guessing it comes with) but if I did purchase CS, I am positive it would cost me my left testicle after my wife found out.

I think I want to save my testicle for something more substancial like another Motorbike :D.

I am no professional so ,I am assuming elements would surpass most "Joe Average" needs in reguards to Digital Photo enhancing?

Sure sounds like Elements would meet your needs. Less than $100 for a powerful program that's been getting rave reviews.
