What I would like to be able to go is carry the 20d with the 400 f5.6L upright, gestimated length about 13". With that I would probably also have the 17-40 L and the 60 mm macro. I like the idea of the floopiness of Domke (would love a Domke) and prefer deep not wide. No backback!!
Any ideas? Picking out a camera bag is worse than choosing a dress for the prom, never went to the prom so statement is subjective.

The december quarter is deeeeeep! Darn, now I might really have to do that review I keep promising. :doh
FYI: I can fit my D2H with 70-200 AFS VR onboard. That lens must be a good 11" long. Plus either a spare lens AND my SB800, or spare short lens and D70. Oh, and the laptop still slides in the back no problem.

Good comparison! And they're expensive!!!! I was shopping bags yesterday. Kind of like lenses....you could use a variety of styles for different occasions. Decisions, decisions...:dunno

Yes please! I was hoping you would weigh in on this since I can say for certain there isn't anyone around here that would have them to look at:): I also read they are discontinued?

I don't know about discontinued, but they were never on the lineup for USA bags - It was a complete surprise when I saw the one I have in Prague, so I obviously bought it on the spot.
:D
BTW, it's become my favorite bag. I've been carrying it everyday to work since November. Easily fits my laptop, lunch, and one body+lens.

I'm watching one on Ebay:rolleyes and it looks like if I want it's going to have to come from 'over there'. Any other Crumplers that might work? Oh what am I saying, that is the one I want.

If you don't win this Dec/4 , you could wait for the bag in the very first post here (http://www.dgrin.com/showthread.php?t=29110) to hit the US shelves. The wait might be almost the same as waiting for something from the UK!
