:clap Hi Everyone,

I have also just stumbled across this sight and decided to join! Im 21 and have just completed a media degree but decided I want to do still photography and hopefully pick up on film a little bit later so I have just applied to do a full time photography course next year.In the meantime Im volunteering my time taking photos with a uni magazine and trying to get as much practice as possible!. I take it this is a US sight but are there any other Aussies out there too, hello if there is! ...Im trying to upload my files but they keep saying theyre too large even though i downsized it to less than 800 X 1200 ??:dunno help?

Hi Femme!
Don't know what Jwear is trying to say ..... ?
ANyway, howdy - from another Aussie!.
I found this site about 2 weeks ago and have been addicted every since!
there were no other aussies posting then, and now there is about 4! nice one! hopefully were not stepping on anyones toes!...... :wink
your volunteering work sounds like fun ......
don't know about your shots not uploading though - i'm shrinking mine with Microsoft Office Picture Manager and compressing them for 'web pages'. it seems to work for me? good luck.
hope to see some shots soon!
Kate.
