I like #2 and #3. Perhaps a little too much contrast in #2 for my taste. Love rural photos.

I really like # 3. I think I would like the pitch forks in color though. They get lost in the background IMO. Do they have rust on them?

Thanks...
There is rust on them, but I took these photos in B&W on the camera (D200) and then tweaked them a little....may too much in some cases...LOL I'm just waiting for spring to come along and then I'll have some good subject in my garden :) Like from last year...

:agree
Classic B&W rendering - strong graphic elelments with little detail - just nice black and white area with little tonal gradations.
Great B&W appearance as from the 30s or 40s.

Thanks everyone. See...this is my problem when it comes to photography. I'm artistically and compositionally challenged! :rofl I almost deleted #3 because I didn't think it was very interesting. I tend to think about it from a technical point of view. Maybe that's because my job is technical and it spills over into my photos.
I'm working on it though. Seeing other's photos give me ideas...so I try new things now and then.

Love the saw blade pic. Great use of poor lighting.
