Went to the Zoo on Saturday to give the zoom lens a workout, apart from being way to warm for most of the animals to be overly active it was good fun.

You have a fun series of funny facial expressions going on here! Did you crop these or were you just too close for full body shots? I like the expression on the kangaroo...he looks so bored!!! Zoo shots aren't easy...everytime I go the animals are sleeping. :dunno

Most of the animals were sleeping unfortunately, I picked a hot day and was there around midday to make matters worse.
None of the shots were cropped I just used the zoo as an opportunity to get closeups of animals you would probably not be able to(or want to in some cases) get that close to. I do have wider shots of most of the animals pictured but was happy with the closeups as well.

Makes mem want to visit a zoo, but I know I'd end up chasing my Kid around rather than holding my lens steady.
