Wanted 2x Tamron extender for my canon 100-400 lens or 600 mm lens...for canon 20d...lwho is out there.:):

I dont want to rain on your parade. I have a tamron 1.4x to use with my 400 and it does more harm than good. You are better off using Canon TC's and taping pins.

I bought the tamron 1.4 with my canon 100-400 and it works well. At the moment I shoot surfers at 200 yards and can get their lips and teeth but no eyes. I am hoping the 2x will clear up the eyes a little.
