Nikon-Quantaray Tele Mount

This lens-barrel attachment method was used because I was told all over that there aren't any threads to mount adapters for the Nikon E5400.

So I improvised, made it work, but always felt uneasy about the lens barrel having to support that extra weight and maybe over-working the "travelling wave" drive.

Here's what it looks like; I found a better way today and I'll show that next:
