Where to get emoticons?

Are Emoticons for sale, anywhere that any of you know of. I will not use hotmail. I do have aol, but have not seen stuff like this. They have good stuff for their IMs, but I don't do IMs.

Just thought there might be a way to buy, upload, emoticons, spyware free, and one of you might know of that place.

Ginger, I haven't bought any but when I see one I like on a different board, I "save picture as" and then upload it to a smugmug gallery. That way I can insert it as a picture anywhere I want. Like this one called "rant": http://daveorama.smugmug.com/photos/6141442-M.gif
