In real life I'm a software developer for a company that builds software for multi-media and educational presentations. We also build a very specialized theater automation system. For the automation system we have a product that uses a touchscreen for building highly custom 'manual' controls for lighting, audio, etc. This made the rounds yesterday, but I thought I'd share it w/ everyone here.

Most notably is the section where they show the user working w/ digital photos. Now THAT'S what I call a digital light-table! Could you only imagine how much fun a tool like that would be for setting up web pages, printed handouts, magazine layouts, etc.
