Here is one interpretation of Rough. I was actually just looking for texture, and I got some of those, but I wanted to throw this one out first.

EDIT> I straightened it

Thanks!

it's rough living, the siding is rough, and the ground it rough!

Definitely fits the theme. :thumb You might consider cropping out the 'not rough' parts like the lake.

hi - i like this photo a lot. i disagree w/the cropping idea (just my 2c) - the composistion is nice. the only thing that seems wrong is the horizon .. is it my imagination or is it slightly crooked?

otherwise, great photo.

Thanks guys!

You're right about the horizon, but can I fix it?. I guess I could rotate it a little.

I tried cropping the water out, but I didn't care for the result.

I think you're stuck with the water unless you retake the shot from another angle.

Now, if you retake that shot on a stormy day, I think that would negate any non-roughness about the water.:):

I tried to balance the colors in PS. Does it look better?

Yes, I think it does. Brightens up the shot quite a bit and you can actually see the detail on the ground and the cabin much better. I like the second shot muy much. :thumb
