More airplane photos, these are from the Aviation Heritage Festival in Nashua, NH. Tons of WWII planes were there, and not a lot of people showed up. I felt guilty, it was almost like a private show just for me. There was a B17, B24, and the last flying B25 Liberator in the world. There were a pair of A10's, always a great plane to see fly.

Great shots! I love looking at warbirds too. Have you seen my thread from the local airshow this summer http://www.dgrin.com/showthread.php?t=1979&highlight=Warbirds

or my smugmug site http://pathfinder.smugmug.com/Airplanes

We both have shots of B-24s and B-25s and B-17s. There was a B-29 here this summer. The more recent gallery July 2004 was all shot with a 100-400 Canon telezoom

Oh, I would have loved to be able to join you. Nice shot of the Liberator. Really, the last example left flying? Bummer.

That was a typo. The B24 is the only one still flying.

Well not exactly the warbirds you are talking about, but I thought you all might be interested to see some pics af different aircraft here in Iraq. Unfortunately I cant claim to have taken all of the pictures in the gallery, but they all have been taken either by myself or friends of mine here in Iraq. The ones that say Sony DSC-T1 under them are mine.
Cant wait to get my SD9 and blow all of these pics out of the water......
Enjoy....
