It has been officially announced.

Canon 1Ds mkII 16.7 mpx.

It has many of the improvements of the 1DmkII. It should be $8000.00 and available in November 2004.

The also announced a wireless transmitter that will work with the 1DsmkII, 1DmkII and 20D. No price yet. It will be both B/G compatible.
