Comes with 3 QR plates.
Locks tight, loosens easily and moves freely.
This is not a small head... Can handle some weight.

the qr plate looks a bit odd, is it my imagination? is it by any chance the same as the newer ones? If its the same as the one on my monopod, I'll take it.

I guess these plates are a little different when you compare them to the new plates.... they're more rectangular and measure 1"x1.5" at the base, and 3/4"x1.5" at the cam. Will this work for you?

A ha! so that's 3 QR plates stacked together! Now I get it!! let me do some more research. I really want to be able to use the same QR plates on my monopod and tripod.

OH... YEA! They are all screwed together. (I was wondering what you were talking about... :scratch) That IS all 3 plates in the image. :thumb
